Most travelers from countries like the United States, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, and many parts of Europe can rent with their national license plus passport. For countries where an IDP is mandatory (such as Japan), we’ll guide you through that process during check-in. Once verified, you won’t have to present anything again at a counter — your documents are securely stored, and your check-in is completed entirely on mobile.
